“Transport, snowshoe walk and meeting the dogs was very well organised. Our walking Guide was very informative about the scenery and the Alaskan husky dogs in general. In the break we got a nice warm Berry drink with homemade choco chip cookies. The visit and cuddles with the dogs were the highlight (for me). Afterwards there was coffee or tea, again accompanied by homemade chocolate cake, which was lunch in itself. I highly recommend this tour!!”

8.Husky Hike and Puppy Visit with Traditional Lunch

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 104 reviews · from $146Best value

Spend 4.5 hours with Tromsø Villmarkssenter, home to about 200 Alaskan Huskies. Walk with energetic dogs through North Norwegian countryside, meet puppies, and eat a warm traditional lunch in a Sami Lavvo. English-speaking guides such as Jenny, Leo, Agata, Dennis, and Alejandro have led this outing.

“We got a little worried when there was a huge bus to transport us, but we ended up in a group of 10 hikers and 7 dogs and it was awesome. It’s more like getting pulled by dogs on a hike so not for super small people or those who can’t walk on rough terrain. Meetings dogs and puppies was fun too. The best part was the lunch - great food, really neat hut, fire was warm, and the guides were really friendly and helpful. This was my daughter’s favorite activity of our vacation. Highly recommended!”
