“I don’t think this trip is well suited for beginners. Myself and my friend had no kayaking experience which is why we booked this tour as it was described as ‘perfect for beginners’. We didn’t get much of a briefing on how to steer the kayak, how best to use the oars, techniques etc. The tour involved kayaking across a windy bay to get to the islands which is hard work and difficult if you’re not used to sea kayaking. The tour takes you round a few sheltered islands that weren’t very pretty or interesting to look at and we didn’t see any wildlife at all. Then on the way…”
