“Wonderful tour with great hosts. Would highly recommemd but just consider that it is definitely a workout. Especially if it is a windy day the waves can be quite high. We did take double kayaks so that was a bit easier. Also the lunch was nice and fun to watch it be cooked over the campfire. Also it was not a full 8 hours of kayaking and a good amount of breaks in between.”

“This was our first experience with sea kayaking. We really enjoyed the tour around the tiny islands outside of Bergen. The guide was very kind, helpful and provided a lot of info about the local nature, fauna but also about the Norwegian life. The provided refreshment was excellent as even a gluten free option was provided. The only disadvantage was a relatively long way from the center of Bergen (aprox 40 minutes drive). I would recommend the tour to everyone who wants to experience a nice and unusual outdoor activity and wants to escape the crowded Bergen city center”

“Absolutely enjoyed the tour. Reuben, the guide whom I shared my Kayak with, as I was by myself, helped me not to tip our Kayak over ;) He gave me some invaluable tips on how best to Kayak so my arms wouldn't fall of at the end of the trip. He has a good sense of humour, which made sharing a kayak fun plus he provided some interesting & fun facts about the surrounding areas we passed. Only down side, the sun could have been more out but still a 10/10. Cheers Jess”

“I don’t think this trip is well suited for beginners. Myself and my friend had no kayaking experience which is why we booked this tour as it was described as ‘perfect for beginners’. We didn’t get much of a briefing on how to steer the kayak, how best to use the oars, techniques etc. The tour involved kayaking across a windy bay to get to the islands which is hard work and difficult if you’re not used to sea kayaking. The tour takes you round a few sheltered islands that weren’t very pretty or interesting to look at and we didn’t see any wildlife at all. Then on the way…”
